Hammack Roasters, founded in 2022, specializes in micro-batch coffee roasting, focusing on high-quality, small-scale production. In 2020, I began my journey into coffee roasting, driven by a genuine love for coffee and a curiosity about how beans transform during roasting. What started as a personal hobby, roasting for family and friends, soon grew into something much more. Experimenting with different beans, roast profiles, and flavor profiles became both a learning experience and a creative outlet. Through trial and error, I honed my skills, refining my technique and developing a deep appreciation for the art behind roasting.

Eventually, I decided to take the leap and turn my passion into a business, which led to the founding of Hammack Roasters. Starting my own roasting business allowed me to share my craft with a wider audience, while still refining my technique on a larger scale. Hammack Roasters was born from a desire to bring high-quality, hand-roasted coffee to people who appreciate the effort and artistry behind each cup.

What stands out the most to me is my love for the entire process—from selecting the beans to roasting and delivering a fresh, well-crafted cup. I don’t see roasting as just a means to an end; I truly appreciate each step of the journey. Every decision, whether it’s the roast time, temperature, or bean origin, impacts the final flavor. This passion for the process shines through in the quality of the coffee I produce and the satisfaction of my customers. It’s that deep appreciation that keeps me motivated, constantly striving to improve both for myself and for the coffee community I’m building with Hammack Roasters.
